Yes, everyone is welcome to play.

3. I don’t live in East Grinstead. Is that a problem?

Not a problem! Anyone can play.

4. How do I enter the draw?

Click the ‘JOIN NOW’ button on the homepage and complete the Stripe mandate for monthly payments.

5. How do I pay?

You’ll need to set up a standing order from your bank account using our payment provider, Stripe. Payments will be taken automatically on the 1st of each month.

6. Can I pay once for a whole year?

No, this is not a function provided by our payment provider, Stripe. Payments will be taken at the beginning of every month.

7. How does the draw work?

Once you have completed the Stripe form, £2 will be taken from your chosen bank account on the 1st of each month. The draw takes place on the 10th of each month. One of the numbers included in the draw for the month will be selected at random. The owner of the winning number will receive 50% of the money taken for that month’s draw; so if there are 50 tickets in a draw then the winner will receive £50 and the other half of the money goes to the 4th East Grinstead Scout fund.

8. Can I have more than one number?

Yes, you can buy up to 20 tickets per account. Just adjust the amount of tickets you wish to buy on your account dashboard.

9. Can I choose my own number(s)?

No, your number(s) will be issued automatically. Players will receive the lowest available number(s).

10. Will my number(s) change?

If you cancel at any time then rejoin, you will be issued with a different number, or numbers. If you don’t cancel, then your allocated number(s) will remain.

11. What if I forget my number(s)?

That doesn’t matter, we’ll still have your name to identify you.

12. If I win, will you publish my name anywhere?

We will publish the winning ticket number along with your name on our website and social media platforms, but there is the option of being anonymous if you wish, meaning that only your ticket number will be published.

13. How many prizes are there?

There’s one prize per month, so 12 draws per year.

14. How do I cancel my standing order?

This is done by simply cancelling your subscription on Stripe. You will need to log into Stripe to do this, and you will receive instructions on how to do this directly from Stripe with your receipt.

15. If I cancel my standing order, will I be entered into the next draw?

If you cancel before the draw of the month you’re in, then yes, your number will be entered into that month’s draw. If you cancel after the draw of the month you’re in, then no, your number will not be entered into the next month’s draw.

16. Is the Scout group licenced to run a 100 Club?
