Terms & Conditions and Rules

1. Overview

The 100 Club is a monthly prize draw operated by the 4th East Grinstead Scout Group to raise funds for Scouting activities and equipment. It is open to anyone aged 16 or over.

2. Subscription & Payment

• The subscription fee is £2 per month, collected by recurring card payment via Stripe.
• Subscriptions can be started, managed, or cancelled at any time through your online dashboard or the Stripe Customer Portal.
• No refunds will be given for payments already made.

3. Ticket Allocation

• One unique ticket number is allocated per member per month upon successful payment.
• Ticket numbers are assigned automatically and cannot be chosen or swapped.
• Only tickets with a confirmed payment for that month are eligible for the draw.

4. The Monthly Draw

• One draw takes place each calendar month.
• A single winning ticket is selected at random from all eligible entries for that month.
• The draw is conducted by an administrator of the 4th East Grinstead Scout Group.

5. Prize Fund

• 50% of the total monthly subscription income is awarded to the winner as a cash prize.
• The remaining 50% goes directly to the 4th East Grinstead Scout Group fund.
• The prize amount varies each month depending on the number of active subscribers.
• Winners will be notified by email and the prize will be arranged by the Scout Group.

6. Cancellation & Membership

• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Cancelled members remain eligible for the draw until their paid period ends.
• If a payment fails, you will not receive a ticket for that month and will not be entered into the draw.

7. Data & Privacy

• Your personal information (name, email) is stored securely and used solely for the operation of the 100 Club.
• Payment details are processed securely by Stripe and are not stored by the 100 Club.
• Winner names may be shared on social media and other communications to announce draw results. If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact us.

8. General

• The 4th East Grinstead Scout Group reserves the right to amend these terms with reasonable notice to members.
• Any disputes will be resolved at the discretion of the Scout Group leadership.
• This draw is operated on a not-for-profit basis in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 (Small Society Lotteries).
